Yarrow Mountain Guides offers highly customized rock climbing tours for anyone from novices to experts. Whether you’re curious about a new experience, have climbed indoors or outdoors and want to increase your skills and knowledge, or are an experienced climber looking for a local professional to show you around, we can create a unique, personalized experience just for you! All trips are offered as either full or half days.
BEGINNER PACKAGE

Our professional guides will equip you with all of the necessary skills to have a fun and exciting rock climbing experience! Choose a half day trip for an introductory experience, or join us for a full day for a more in-depth experience connecting with the world or rock climbing and the breathtaking landscape of Northern New Mexico.
Duration: Half day trips are up to 4 hours, full day trips are up to 8 hours. Trip duration does not include travel time, which ranges between 30 minutes and 1 hour each way.
Season: Year round
Level of Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Destination: We will work with you to select from a number of world-class climbing areas in the Santa Fe area to determine the best location based on weather, your skills, and the goals of the trip.
INTERMEDIATE PACKAGE
You might be:

An indoor gym climber ready to transition to outdoor climbing

Seeking technical instruction to build your climbing skill set (lead climbing, trad climbing, anchor building, multi-pitch climbing, rappelling, etc.)

We love to offer mentorship to up-and-coming climbers! This trip is completely customizable to suit your interests and help you achieve your climbing goals.

Level of Difficulty: Moderate, some rock climbing experience is helpful but not required.

Community Climbs
Designed to make outdoor rock climbing more accessible to the Santa Fe community, our Community Climbs days offer a relaxed, semi-guided day out at the crag. These trips are perfect for someone who lacks the gear or experience to get outside on their own, but don't feel the need for a privately guided day.
Duration: 4 hours. Trip duration does not include travel time, which ranges between 30 minutes and 1 hour each way.
Rates: $110/person
2023 Schedule: The last Saturday of every month, April to October. Clinics meet in Santa Fe at 9am.
